Sign up for a Flightradar24 API account and choose a tier (e.g., entry/mid/advanced) or pay-as-you-go credits.
Obtain your API token from the FR24 API dashboard.

Known gotchas
Pricing/rate limits are credit-metered and tier-dependent - both queries-per-minute and historical-data lookback window scale with tier, so a low tier may silently truncate how far back historical queries can reach.
