Authenticate and obtain a bearer token (see Metasys auth route)
Call the Activities operations to retrieve the superset of alarms and audits present in the system
Use activity-specific query parameters to filter down to just alarms or just audits
Subscribe for activity-related events to receive push updates when activities are created, discarded, acknowledged, or annotated
Check the Version Support Matrix to confirm which API version (v4/v6) your Metasys release supports before coding against a specific schema
