Documented steps
Create a folder named notes-rolling in your personal Dropbox at the top level
For each meeting, create a markdown file dated YYYY-MM-DD-meetingname.md
Start the file with a header: ## [Meeting Name] | [Date]
Capture decisions as bullet points with owner names, not just discussion
After the meeting, tag the file in Slack with #meeting-notes and link it to the thread
Every Friday, review and move files older than 30 days to an archive subfolder
Known gotchas
People kept filing these in the shared Google Drive instead of their personal Dropbox, which caused permission issues when new folks tried to access older meetings
When files got too many tags, Slack search stopped returning them reliably
