  1. For onsite sewage pumpers, schedule the WOSSA pumper exam (O&M Level 1) or specialist exam (O&M Level 2) by calling WOSSA at 253-770-6594
  2. For other liquid waste haulers, complete a course covering pathogen awareness in lieu of the pumper exam
  3. Submit the pumper owner/employee certification application via the Public Health Permit Center plus a vehicle inspection application for every company pump vehicle
  4. Business owners must also provide proof of WA state bonding/contractor liability and a signed disposal-site authorization letter for each disposal site used
  5. Renew by December 31 each year; late fees apply after Jan 15 and double after Jan 31, with possible exam retake required after Feb 10
