Schedule regular delta sync calls to retrieve incremental mapping updates as Vervotech ingests new properties and room types from its 400-plus pre-integrated suppliers
Store the Vervotech ID as your canonical property key in your database and use it to de-duplicate hotel records when aggregating inventory from multiple sources
Known gotchas
Vervotech's mapping accuracy depends on content supplied by each integrated provider; properties with sparse or inconsistent content from a supplier may have lower confidence match scores that require manual review
Hotel mapping and room mapping are separate API products with distinct endpoints; retrieving a hotel-level Vervotech ID does not automatically provide room-level mappings, which require additional room mapping calls
Mapping data changes as suppliers add, remove, or rename properties; integrations that cache mapping data indefinitely without running delta syncs will accumulate stale or broken property references
