Steps

  1. Contact Momentus to have Open API enabled for your account — it's a priced add-on, not available by default
  2. As a System Admin, click your name in the upper-left corner, select System Admin, then open the Open API tab
  3. Click the + icon to open Create Open API Credentials, name the credential descriptively (e.g. "Contacts Write"), and check Write Permissions if the integration needs to insert/update data
  4. Click Save, then immediately copy the displayed Client ID and Client Secret to a secure location — the secret cannot be retrieved again once the dialog closes
  5. Create separate scoped credentials per integration purpose (e.g. a read-only "Calendar View" credential vs. a write-enabled "EventDraw Connector" credential)
