Steps

  1. GET the geocode.search.hereapi.com/v1/geocode endpoint with q={query} and apiKey={key}
  2. For reverse geocoding, GET the separate revgeocode.search.hereapi.com/v1/revgeocode endpoint with at={lat},{lng} and apiKey
  3. For higher precision use structured qq= parameters (city, street, houseNumber, postalCode) instead of a single free-text q string
  4. Use the /autocomplete endpoint for partial-input UX and /discover for free-text place search instead of geocode
