Confirm the bonding conductor is solid copper, minimum 8 AWG (insulated, covered, or bare), per NEC 680.26.
Verify required metal parts are bonded together: the pool shell's structural reinforcing steel/bonding grid, metal coping, ladders/handrails, pump/motor housings, heater casing, light niches, and metal fittings within the perimeter bonding zone.
Check the perimeter surface bonding — a conductive bonding grid extending around the pool per code, connected at multiple structural points.
Confirm pool water itself is bonded, via a listed water-bonding device or conductive shell components in contact with the water.
Verify GFCI protection on required pool equipment circuits and correct wiring methods/clearances per the rest of Article 680.
