Ensure both points were added to the key via GEOADD.
Run GEODIST key member1 member2 [M|KM|FT|MI]; the unit defaults to meters.
Example: GEODIST Sicily Palermo Catania km returns the distance in kilometers.
Treat the response as a double (a bulk string under RESP2, a double under RESP3).

Known gotchas

Returns NULL/nil if either member is missing from the index.
Unit must be one of M (meters, default), KM, MI, or FT.
O(1) — positions are read straight from the sorted-set score.
Computed on a perfect-sphere model — up to ~0.5% error in edge cases.
