Authenticate as above and confirm the API key has access to the target site/control panel
Call the Sites/Doors endpoints to enumerate access points under the account
Trigger a momentary unlock on a specific access point via the Doors endpoint
Call the Events endpoint to retrieve access, exception, and device event logs
Filter events by door, user, or time range to support monitoring dashboards or audits

The Brivo Onair Activity Log UI aggregates several event categories (access, exception, device, panel, camera); reproducing the same view via the Events API may require multiple calls or filters
Unlocking a door via API still respects the underlying panel/access rules — an offline or lockdown-state panel will reject the request even if the API call is well-formed
