  2. Add a rule that removes orphaned delete markers once no other versions remain: mc ilm rule add --expire-delete-marker myaistor/mydata.
  3. Confirm the rule with mc ilm rule ls myaistor/mydata.
  4. MinIO removes the DeleteMarker tombstone when the object has no other versions left to protect.
