Contact ServiceTrade via servicetrade.com/developers or support@servicetrade.com to start the Partner App review process (API access is not instant self-serve signup)
Accept the ServiceTrade EULA and Developer Agreement before a Partner App Key is issued
Authenticate via POST /api/auth to obtain a session token; a 404 on GET /api/auth signals you need a new token
Use the REST endpoints under https://api.servicetrade.com/api (documented at api.servicetrade.com/api/docs) to read/write jobs, locations, deficiencies, and inspection data
Prefer the official client libraries (@servicetrade/sdk on npm, servicetrade on PyPI, servicetrade/servicetrade on Packagist) over hand-rolled HTTP calls where possible
Known gotchas
API access requires ServiceTrade's Partner App review (they interview you about intended data use) before issuing a key — there is no instant self-serve API token
