Documented steps

  1. Delete a single object: mc rm ALIAS/BUCKET/object.txt.
  2. Delete a whole bucket and all contents with --recursive --force: mc rm --recursive --force ALIAS/BUCKET.
  3. With bucket versioning enabled, delete a specific version with --version-id <id> (list versions via mc ls --versions ALIAS/BUCKET).
  4. Use mc rm --dry-run first to preview what would be removed without deleting.
  5. Verify with mc ls ALIAS/BUCKET or mc stat.
