Note that Unity Cloud Build has been rebranded as Build Automation, a component of Unity DevOps, using the same underlying service.
In the Unity Cloud dashboard, create a Build Automation configuration under DevOps, selecting your source repo, target platform, and Unity version.
Configure build triggers so a push to a branch or a pull request automatically kicks off a build, and set any required environment variables/secrets in the configuration's advanced settings.
Add platform-specific signing credentials (Android keystore, iOS provisioning profile) to the configuration so release builds are properly signed.
Consume build artifacts via the Unity Cloud API/webhooks to feed them into further pipeline stages such as store upload or test device deployment.
Known gotchas
Legacy documentation and dashboards still reference "Cloud Build" branding in places, which can be confusing when following older tutorials against the current Build Automation UI.
Build minutes and concurrent build slots are metered by your Unity organization's plan; large teams can hit queuing delays without a paid tier.
Editor version and installed packages/modules on the cloud build agent must match your local project's exactly, or builds that work locally can fail in the pipeline.
