Steps

  1. Run osrm-extract on an .osm.pbf file with the desired profile (car.lua, bicycle.lua, or foot.lua)
  2. Run osrm-partition followed by osrm-customize to build the multi-level Dijkstra (MLD) graph
  3. Start osrm-routed pointing at the customized .osrm files to serve the HTTP routing API
  4. After changing only speed/access weighting in the profile, re-run osrm-customize alone rather than the full pipeline
