Log in to SAP API Business Hub (api.sap.com) and open the target API's page
Click Get API Key to generate a per-user sandbox API key, then Copy API Key
Pass the key in a header named apikey on requests made against the sandbox host shown for that API
Test requests entirely against the sandbox environment first, since it only serves pre-loaded test data
Once validated, switch the integration to your own tenant's productive endpoint using your own OAuth/API credentials rather than the Hub sandbox key
Known gotchas
The sandbox API key is explicitly for evaluation only — SAP does not support using it for any productive workload
