Steps

  1. In the iMonnit account API section, configure a Data Webhook (distinct from a Rule Webhook) pointing at your HTTPS endpoint
  2. Select the sensors/applications whose readings should trigger the webhook, e.g., Application ID 2 for Temperature
  3. Confirm your endpoint receives a payload on each new sensor data message, carrying fields like SensorID, Data, and DataTypes
  4. Use a Rule Webhook instead (or in addition) if you want threshold-based alert notifications rather than every raw reading
  5. Add your own validation on the receiving endpoint, since Monnit does not publicly document a payload-signing scheme
