Integrate IDX property search into an agent website using the IDX Broker API

Steps
Create or verify an active IDX Broker Lite or Platinum account and generate an API access key from the IDX Broker control panel
Pass the access key via the required request headers on each call to the middleware API
Call the appropriate IDX API endpoint, such as property search results, to retrieve listing data formatted for display
Cache responses client-side to stay under the account's hourly access allowance
Rotate or revoke API keys from the control panel if a key is compromised
Known gotchas
Platinum-level accounts are capped at 500 accesses per hour per access key, and development-partner ancillary keys get triple that limit, but exceeding limits throttles the integration
The IDX Broker API only returns data IDX Broker has ingested and licensed for display; it is not a live standards-based RESO/RETS MLS feed
