Engage Traxo to establish an integration partnership; the developer portal is at developer.traxo.com and is powered by Stoplight for interactive documentation
Configure data capture sources: Traxo supports API connections, email inbox scanning via CAPTURE, and data-forwarding options to ingest bookings made outside the corporate TMC
Authenticate against the Traxo API using the credentials provided during onboarding; Traxo normalizes heterogeneous booking data before exposing it via its API
Poll or subscribe to webhook delivery to receive normalized itinerary objects containing traveler identity, origin, destination, travel dates, and booking provider for each captured segment
Push the normalized travel records to your duty-of-care provider or TMC using the Traxo Marketplace routing, or consume the data directly for internal risk tracking dashboards
Reconcile Traxo-captured itineraries with TMC-booked trips to compute program leakage percentages and identify travelers operating outside policy
Known gotchas
Traxo requires user consent for email inbox scanning; the consent and OAuth connection to each traveler's email account must be established before any off-channel data can be captured for that person
Normalization quality depends on the confirmation email format from each booking source; niche or regional booking sites may have lower parse accuracy than major OTAs — validate a sample of records before relying on the feed for duty-of-care decisions
Traxo data may lag by minutes to hours depending on the capture method; real-time duty-of-care alert systems should account for this latency and not assume instantaneous visibility for off-channel bookings
