Link a Unitec Wash Select II entry system to a DRB POS4000 network

Steps

1. With power disconnected, install the Wash Select II communications module on the top-left corner of the CPU board (LEDs facing down) if not already present.
2. Wire POS4000 connector J22 to the Wash Select II module: Pin 1 White-White, Pin 2 Red-Red, Pin 3 Black-Black, and strap the shield to the case's base mounting bolt.
3. Restore power, place the unit in Setup mode, and go to POS4000 Link > Interface Mode; press 1 for WS2/POS (single unit with POS4000) or 2 for Multi-Unit Link.
4. For multi-bay sites, set each unit's Bay Address under POS4000 Link > Set Bay Address (bay 1 = address 2, bay 2 = address 3, etc.; the POS4000 is always address 1).
5. Set Convey Accounting (POS4000 Link > Convey Accounting) to Yes if the wash and store share ownership, or No for revenue-share arrangements that should withhold coin-box accounting from the POS4000.
6. Return the unit to Operate mode and confirm the RX/TX lights on the 485 communications module blink alternately to verify the link is active.
