Steps
Authenticate with a Famly Public API access token as with other GraphQL queries
Confirm current API coverage: invoices and bill payers currently expose mutations, with read/query support called out separately in the docs as evolving
Use mutations such as creating/listing invoices by site ID to push or pull billing data
Cross-check results against the Famly admin billing UI, since invoice querying capability may lag mutation capability
For full accounting exports, use Famly's supported Xero CSV export rather than assuming the GraphQL API covers full financial reporting
Known gotchas
As of Famly's own documentation, invoice/bill-payer GraphQL support is asymmetric — mutations exist but querying was still being rolled out, so don't assume a full CRUD surface
Famly's built-in accounting export path is Xero via CSV, not a live API sync, so financial-system integrations often still need a CSV step
