Steps

  1. Confirm the account is on a plan that includes webhooks (Growth or Pro) — lower tiers cannot configure them
  2. In Kajabi's webhook settings, enable outbound webhooks for events such as Purchase Created, Purchase Succeed (first payment on a subscription or payment plan offer), and Cart Purchase
  3. Point each webhook at your endpoint URL to receive a JSON payload when a customer completes a one-time offer or the first payment of a subscription
  4. Separately, Kajabi supports inbound Activation/Deactivation webhooks per Offer, callable with name, email, and external_user_id to grant or revoke access from an external system
  5. For broader read/write access beyond purchase events, evaluate Kajabi's Public API (OAuth 2.0 client_credentials, Bearer tokens against https://api.kajabi.com/v1), bundled with the Pro Plan (announced Sept 2025) or available as a paid add-on, and requiring an Owner/Subowner-created API key
