Documented steps
Identify the need: As a Pro user at checkout, only retrieve routes that have been individually fact-checked (verification:'verified').
Pass the contributor API key obtained from waymark_register as the 'api_key' parameter in the waymark_query call.
Set the 'verified_only' parameter to true in the query to filter for individually verified routes only.
Note that one credit is spent per result shown in the response, regardless of whether the result is a route or an empty result set.
Zero-result queries (no matching routes) are free of charge; credits are only consumed when at least one result is returned.
Known gotchas
The contributor API key is shown only once during registration and cannot be looked up again — store it securely.
Credits are billed per result shown, even if the result page is empty (i.e., if at least one result is returned, you're charged; zero results cost nothing).
The 'verified_only' filter requires a Pro API key with prepaid credits; omitting the key or using a free key will fail the query.
