Authenticate and query a municipal Vermont Systems RecTrac API session

Steps
Obtain an API key tied to your organization's RecTrac License Profile from your RecTrac administrator
Call the Authenticate/Login operation with that API key to receive a Session ID for subsequent requests
Attach the Session ID to further calls (e.g., browsing available items or programs) as documented in the RecTrac API interfaces document
Add items to a cart for a session where supported (per vendor docs, cart purchasing has historically covered a limited item set such as tee times) and fetch the cart's contents by Session ID
Call the Logout operation when finished to explicitly end the session and keep sessions clean
Known gotchas
Each municipality/agency runs its own hosted RecTrac instance on its own subdomain, so there is no single shared base URL across customers
Sessions must be explicitly logged out — leaving them open can leave stale sessions active per the vendor's own documentation
