Steps
GET /v2/publications/:publicationId/referral_program with the referral_program:read scope
Paginate using limit (1-100) and page query params to retrieve all milestones
Each milestone includes num_referrals, auto_fulfill, and a nested reward object (name, type, description)
To see which subscribers were referred by whom, request subscriptions with the "referrals" expand parameter
For a full log of referral activity, export via the beehiiv dashboard (Settings > Publications > Export, or a segment CSV export) — there is no bulk export endpoint in the API
Known gotchas
There is no dedicated referral-data "export" API endpoint — this endpoint only returns program configuration/milestones, not a full referral event log
Bulk/CSV export of referral data is dashboard-only as of this writing; substituted from the original 'export' framing for this reason
