Steps

  1. Generate an OctoPrint API key from the instance's Settings > Application Keys (or the global API key)
  2. Send the key via the X-Api-Key header on all requests
  3. POST the file as multipart form data to /api/files/{location} where location is local or sdcard
  4. Optionally set select=true and print=true in the same request to select and immediately start printing the upload
