Call the Availability API base endpoint to query availability for properties, unit groups, units, or services over a date range
Filter results by unit-group id to check room-type-level availability rather than per-unit

Known gotchas
Unit groups in Apaleo are the equivalent of room types elsewhere; requests scoped to the wrong unit-group id silently return empty results rather than an error
Modifying availability requires the availability.manage scope in addition to read scopes, and setup-level changes (creating unit groups themselves) need a separate setup.manage scope
Availability overrides interact with rate-plan-level restrictions managed elsewhere, so a manual override can be superseded by rules already covered under Apaleo's Rate Plan API
