Steps
Request an API key from Operto support, scoped to specific resource access for the account.
Authenticate requests to the Teams API using the issued API key.
Create staff tasks with a POST call to the staff-tasks endpoint, assigning property, task type, and staff member.
Refresh or validate the API session via the OAuth refresh endpoint as needed for longer-running integrations.
Poll or list tasks to track completion status for operational reporting.
Known gotchas
Operto Teams (task/cleaning operations) and Operto Connect/Guest (smart home, guest journey) are separate product lines - this API only covers the Teams/task-management surface, not smart-home or guest-access features.
