Steps

  1. Submit the Navionics Web API developer request form on Garmin's site to begin the gated approval process
  2. Choose a tier: Standard (free, embed-only viewer, no custom overlays, must remain free to end users) or Enhanced (paid annual license, full-page display, custom overlays like POIs and vessel tracking)
  3. Once approved, receive a developer key that authorizes chart access for your app or site
  4. For web integration, embed the Web API v2 JavaScript viewer following the published reference examples
  5. For native apps, integrate the corresponding iOS/Android mobile SDK documented in the developer portal
  6. Configure the viewer to render standard nautical charts and/or SonarChart HD bathymetry layers centered on the desired coordinates
