Documented steps POST https://api.browserbase.com/v1/sessions with X-BB-API-Key: <key> and Content-Type: application/json. In browserSettings set viewport:{width,height}, blockAds:true/false, solveCaptchas:true/false, recordSession:true/false, logSession:true/false. For stealth set advancedStealth:true (and optional os:'windows'|'mac'|'linux'|'mobile'|'tablet'), or verified:true for the verified-browser mode. Optionally set ignoreCertificateErrors (default true) and custom captcha selectors (captchaImageSelector/captchaInputSelector) for captcha solving. Region defaults to us-west-2; choose us-east-1, eu-central-1, or ap-southeast-1 as needed. Official docs: https://docs.browserbase.com/reference/api/create-a-session Known gotchas recordSession and logSession default to true; disable them to reduce stored artifacts if you don't need recordings (relevant for privacy/ZDR). solveCaptchas defaults to true but may need captchaImageSelector/captchaInputSelector for non-standard captchas. Viewport is a fixed integer width/height; screen-resize later is not always reflected in detection signals. Advanced stealth mode may not be available on all plans.
