Steps
In JobNimbus, create a new Automation and choose Event-based as the trigger type
Select a record type (Contact, Job, Task, Work Order, Material Order, Payment, Attachment, or Activity) and a trigger condition: Created, Modified, Created or Modified, or Deleted
Add conditions to scope which records trigger the automation (e.g., only Jobs entering a specific status)
Add a Webhook action and enter the destination URL provided by your external service
Save and test the automation by creating/updating a matching record, then confirm the destination received the expected fields
Known gotchas
Custom fields are not included in the fields JobNimbus sends via webhook actions — only the standard fields for that record type are available
Automations run per-record; a bulk import or bulk-edit can fire the webhook once per record, so design your receiver for burst traffic
JobNimbus explicitly recommends against building automations/webhooks without programming experience, since there's no visual payload preview before go-live
