Documented steps

  1. Run mc od if=file.zip of=myaistor/mybucket/file.zip parts=5 to split the source into 5 parts.
  2. With parts only (no size), the source file is divided into exactly that many equal parts and all of them are uploaded.
  3. To cap the total amount uploaded, combine parts with size: mc od if=file.zip of=.../file.zip size=40MiB parts=5.
  4. Use --json to confirm parts count and totalSize in the result.
