Steps
Obtain a print job ID from the Digital Factory Library API after uploading/preparing a sliced file.
Submit that job ID to a printer's queue via the Connect (Printers) API.
Issue job actions — pause, resume, abort — and override configuration through the same Printers API.
Follow the print-job-tracking guide's recommended polling approach to track the job through its states.
Known gotchas
Queue mutation actions like duplicate and delete apply to queued jobs, not necessarily an in-progress job — verify job state before mutating the queue.
Feature maturity varies by endpoint (see the Cloud API's 'Feature maturity' guide) — some Digital Factory capabilities are marked less stable than others.
