Steps

  1. In the CapRover dashboard, browse One-Click Apps (WordPress, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, etc.) or add a custom one-click-apps repository URL
  2. Select the app, fill in the presented configuration fields (passwords, versions, ports), and deploy
  3. Connect from another CapRover app on the same instance using the internal address srv-captain--<appname>:<port>
  4. To connect from outside the cluster, map a host port to the container port under App Configuration → Port Mapping
  5. Open the corresponding firewall port on the host (e.g. ufw allow <port>) to allow the remote connection
