Steps

  1. Authenticate with the company access token
  2. POST to the asset creation endpoint with an asset name (minimum 3 characters) and a Group ID
  3. Optionally set location, comments, and custom attributes on the new asset
  4. Retrieve the created asset by its Asset# to confirm the stored details
  5. Update or retire the asset later using the corresponding update/retire endpoints
