Steps

  1. Choose between the v2 (recommended) or legacy v1 Planning API endpoints
  2. Obtain a free API key for read access; note per-successful-plan pricing applies for production use beyond a setup cost
  3. For user-linked data, redirect to the /oauth/auth endpoint with a client_id, requested scope, and redirect_uri
  4. Exchange the returned auth_code at the /oauth/token endpoint for an access_token
  5. Call the "me" endpoint with the access token to retrieve the linked user's vehicle_id and profile info
  6. Use the Telemetry API (get_telemetry/set_telemetry scopes) to read or push live vehicle data, or Deep Links for a no-API embed
