Steps
Export the desired print/printer/filament profile settings from the PrusaSlicer GUI to an .ini config file, since the CLI does not read GUI-managed profile storage directly.
Invoke the CLI binary (prusa-slicer on Linux/macOS, prusa-slicer-console.exe on Windows) with --load <config.ini> and the input model path.
Use --slice/-g to produce gcode, with --output specifying an exact output path or --output-filename-format for a naming pattern.
Use --export-sla instead of the FFF flags when targeting SLA/resin printers, since SLA export is handled differently.
Pass repeated -D key=value overrides on the command line to vary individual settings per batch job without editing the ini files.
Known gotchas
The CLI ignores GUI application profile storage — every setting must come from an exported .ini or explicit -D override, a common source of "wrong settings" bugs.
Windows requires the separate prusa-slicer-console.exe binary (not the windowed prusa-slicer.exe) for usable stdout/stderr and correct CLI behavior.
FFF and SLA workflows use different export flags (--slice vs --export-sla) — mixing them up silently produces no output or the wrong format.
