Steps Apply as a Treez partner through the Treez partner program and complete certification before receiving production API keys. Generate an access token via the Authorization API using your organization's client ID and API key. Create a ticket and add products to it via the Ticket API, as a separate call from posting payment. Post payment via the update-existing-ticket endpoint, ensuring the payment amount exactly equals the order total. Set the ticket status to COMPLETED once payment is posted; most fields become locked after payment except for adding further payment. Use the get-by-last-updated-date endpoint to pull recent tickets, keeping in mind it only returns up to 30 days of history.
Known gotchas Partial payments are not supported; the payment amount must match the order total exactly or the call is rejected. Refunds are not supported through the Ticket API and must be processed manually in-store. The production API hostname is only confirmed after partner onboarding; verify it directly with Treez before pointing production traffic anywhere.
