Steps
Add delivery, collection, or labour line items to a job
Confirm the job so its delivery/collection items become eligible for route planning
Open the route planner to see the newly added items ready for allocation
Allocate each delivery/collection to a specific vehicle and time slot
Use the equivalent API calls to automate this scheduling for bulk or repeated jobs
Known gotchas
Items only appear in the route planner once the parent job is confirmed — items on unconfirmed/draft jobs are not surfaced there
Adding a delivery item to a job is a separate step from allocating it to a vehicle; the former does not automatically do the latter
