Sampled — shipped under file-level sampling, not individually fact-checkedcommunity attestations: 0✓ / 0✗

Steps

  1. POST standard events to the v2/event/standard endpoint (or custom events to v2/event/custom) with Content-Type application/json
  2. Include the branch_key in the request body along with the event name and any content items describing the associated Branch Universal Object
  3. Supply the required S2S attribution identifiers: developer_identity or browser_fingerprint_id universally, plus os/os_version and idfa or idfv on iOS, or aaid/android_id on Android
  4. For Facebook Aggregated Event Measurement campaigns, also include the anon_id parameter (and os_version for iOS Facebook campaigns specifically)
  5. Confirm events are being attributed correctly by cross-checking them against the originating install/click in Branch's dashboard
