Documented steps

  1. Add `logging: {driver: fluentd, options: {fluentd-address: "localhost:24224"}}` to the service in compose.yaml.
  2. fluentd-address accepts host:port or unix:///path/to/fluentd.sock.
  3. Set a routing tag: `options: {tag: "myapp.web"}`. Supports Go template fields like {{.ID}}, {{.FullID}}, {{.Name}}.
  4. Ensure the Fluentd daemon runs with a matching source and match; run `docker compose up -d` and confirm logs arrive.
