Integrate with Tekion DMS via Automotive Partner Cloud

Steps

1. Apply for partner access at apc.tekioncloud.com or by contacting APCintegrations@tekion.com; select the appropriate partner tier (Standard, Enterprise, or Strategic) based on your required API surface and dealer footprint.
2. Once approved, register your application in the Automotive Partner Cloud (APC) 2.0 Integration Hub, which provides a centralized interface for managing your integration credentials and scopes.
3. Implement the OAuth 2.0 authorization flow specified by Tekion; dealers authorize your application through the Integration Hub rather than through a traditional OAuth consent screen, removing the need for forms or support tickets.
4. Use the Standard Open APIs to access sales, service, inventory, and parts data in near-real-time; these are self-serve and available immediately after a dealer authorizes your application.
5. For complex workflows requiring read/write operations and reference data access, apply for Enterprise tier APIs, which provide higher rate limits and expanded functionality.
6. Handle paginated responses using the cursor or page parameters documented for each endpoint; monitor rate limit response headers and implement backoff.
