Review Markate's Connect API FAQ to confirm your use case qualifies, then email api@markate.com to request API access as a registered partner or approved customer.
Once approved, use the documented base URL (https://www.markate.com) with the form-encoded REST request patterns shown in the Connect API reference.
Build requests to pull customer and job records for each franchise location and post updates back (e.g. job completion, invoice status) as needed.
Parse the JSON-encoded responses and log any rejected requests, since access and specific endpoints are approved per use case.
Re-confirm endpoint availability periodically, since Markate notes more endpoints and developer tools are still being added.

The Connect API is not self-serve; every access request is manually reviewed and approved based on stated use case, so build in lead time before an integration can go live.
