Steps

  1. Log in to your Resova account and go to Settings > General Settings > Developer to find your API key
  2. Add every request IP you'll call from under Settings > General Settings > Developer > IP Whitelisting before making live calls
  3. Send the key as the X-API-KEY header on every request; no separate password or secret is required
  4. Make all calls over HTTPS — plain HTTP requests are rejected outright
  5. Send request bodies as form-encoded data (not raw JSON) since the Resova API is built around standard form-encoded POST/PUT bodies
  6. Confirm access before building further, since trial accounts cannot call the API — only fully active paid accounts can
