Steps

  1. Generate an API key from Account Preferences (requires an Enterprise or App Market partner account, not self-serve)
  2. List plans to get the target plan_id for the site/flight
  3. Call GET https://public-api.dronedeploy.com/v2/tiles/<plan_id>/volume/POLYGON((<lng> <lat>,...))?baseplane_type=fit&api_key={api_key}, with polygon coordinates as Well-Known-Text in lng/lat order
  4. Choose a baseplane_type appropriate to the stockpile (fit, triangulated, lowest, designSurface, comparisonMap, or custom)
  5. Parse the response JSON's cut, fill, and volume fields for the measured pile
