Call https://api.tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/api/prod/datagetter with product=water_level for the target station.
Set date=latest (or a specific date/range) plus datum, units, and time_zone.
Read the returned 6-minute preliminary or verified water level value.
Compare against the marina's known low-water hazards (shoal depth, fixed-dock clearance) referenced to the same datum.
Re-poll periodically for near-real-time monitoring, respecting NOAA's informal rate-limiting guidance.
