Steps
Confirm the listing brokerage has an active CREA membership and has opted their brokerage into DDF sharing
Apply for DDF API access through your local real estate board to receive OAuth2 client credentials tied to that board's data feed
Obtain a bearer access token from CREA's Identity Server using the OAuth2 client credentials grant
Call the DDF Web API base at ddfapi.realtor.ca with the bearer token to pull listings scoped to your authorized board/member
Respect the permission model, since only listings the brokerage opted into DDF distribution will appear in the feed
Known gotchas
Without the listing brokerage's explicit DDF opt-in, no listings can legally be pulled for that brokerage even with valid API credentials
DDF access is board-by-board in Canada, so credentials from one real estate board typically don't grant data from other boards' feeds
