Use the Ingredient resource to manage ingredient-level stock, prep time, and shelf-life data
Use ProductSerial to track serialized units through in-stock, sold, and returned-to-vendor states
Use UnitType to define stock-unit-to-sale-unit conversions (e.g. case to each)
For physical inventory counts, use the newer Stocktake, StocktakeItem, StocktakeScannedItem, StocktakeSection, and StocktakeSectionTable resources rather than the older PhysicalInventory family
Avoid relying on InventoryStockAmount for new integrations, since it was flagged for deprecation of public access in a past release
