Steps
Under Settings > Sync Zone in the Skimmer mobile app, check Last Good Sync to see when data was last saved to the cloud
Toggle Sync When Opening App and/or Sync When Leaving App so syncs happen automatically at those two points (fires only if 5+ minutes have passed since the last sync)
If using more than one device, mark exactly one as Primary Device for Route (the device that edits route/customer data) and leave the others view-only
Continue recording service work, readings, and photos normally - Skimmer holds data locally when signal is unavailable
When back in a signal area, tap Perform Sync at the bottom of the Sync Zone screen to force an immediate upload
Known gotchas
Running two devices as Primary at the same time risks conflicting edits to the same route/customer data
Automatic syncs only fire on a 5-minute-plus interval - don't rely on it for near-instant multi-device visibility
This is native-app local caching, not a queryable offline API - there is no public endpoint to inspect pending unsynced records
