In web Settings, configure which chemicals to dose by default, which chemicals/readings display in the app, and target dose values per chemical
As a technician records readings during a visit, Pool Brain auto-fills suggested dosing amounts using Orenda's calculation methodology
Technicians can accept the suggested amounts, edit them manually, or open the built-in Orenda Calculator to recompute or dose by LSI instead
Calcium, salt (for bodies of water with a working salt system), and sulfuric acid can also be auto-dosed alongside standard chemicals
Review current vs. predicted LSI in-app once pH, alkalinity, CYA, TDS-or-salt, and water temp readings are entered
Known gotchas
Auto-dosing recommendations depend entirely on the readings a technician actually records that visit - missing readings mean no or incomplete dose suggestions
LSI display requires all five inputs (pH, alkalinity, CYA, TDS-or-salt, water temp); missing any one suppresses the LSI value
Dose targets are configured per company in Settings, not automatically per pool, unless overridden at the body-of-water level
